Reverend Peter Chin is using his leadership to bring the reign of the Kingdom of God to earth with powerful messages, servant-hood, and networking with other Christian leaders.
His ministry priority stems out of his vision and passion to lead people to Christ provide them with healthy leadership. Rev. Chin continuously strives to imitate the leadership of Jesus Christ to challenge Christian leaders, not only in Korea, but also over the world.
Rev. Chin started his ministry at Yongnak Church in LA as a Mission and Education Pastor. Afterward, responding to God¡¯s calling, he went to Kenya, Africa as a missionary for three years. There Rev. Chin founded Nairobi International Mission Church and also served as head professor at Nairobi International School of Theology. From there, he returned to Korea for a couple of years to lead the Global English and International Department as Global Mission Church. Rev. Chin then received a call back to the United States to serve as head Pastor at New Vision Church. During his stay there, New Vision Church experienced and explosive growth and became the largest Korean Baptist church in northern California.
Rev. Chin received his bachelors in psychology at the University of Virginia, his M.Div. at Trinity International University, his Th.M. in Missiology and Ph.D. in Leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary and recently his D.Min. at Midwestern Baptist Seminary. He has been invited as a guest professor and speaker to numerous schools and conferences, such as Wuhan University in China, Chongshin School of World Mission in Korea, Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in California, and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Missouri.
He has a wide range of ministry experience in America, Asia and Africa. He has networked with Christian leaders in Third World Countries and this interaction has honed his global perspective and insight. Equipped with the ability to speak multiple languages and deliver powerful sermons, he has passionately spread the Word of God and pursued a holistic approach to ministry that is applicable to three different generations.
Reverend Peter Chin was inaugurated as the new senior Pastor of Global Mission Church(the largest Baptist Church in Korea with a congregation of over 30,000 people) in South Korea at the beginning of 2011. Since then Rev. Chin has been devoted to the church¡¯s vision to lead the world wide Church into the 21st century.
As many Korean churches watched and observed how this mega church would adapt to a new senior pastor, the smooth transition and growth Global Mission Church exemplified is a testament to Rev. Chin¡¯s firm leadership and profound spirituality.

Chin has accepted this responsibility and desires to guide Global Mission Church into its next stage of being the Salt and light of the world.
